Minimum Requirements for International Students at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT)

I know many students who are planning to pursue MS in US are confused as to which universities to apply that suits their profiles. This post has the details of minimum requirements needed to apply at RIT, which might help you decide with your list of universities to apply. 

1) Graduate Application Form: To start off with your application process, you need to first fill out the graduate application form. You can also fill it online.

You can create your account here and fill out the application form.

2)  Application Fees: The application fees is $50 non-refundable. You can pay online by credit card. The other option is to pay via personal checks, money order or bank draft.

3)  Official Transcripts: You should send the official transcripts of all your post-secondary education. International applicants should also include an official degree certificate along with their transcripts.

4)  Statement of Purpose: You should also provide an application essay which states clearly about your educational objectives.

5)  Degree Certificates: Your previous education degree certificates are required.

6)  Letters of Recommendation: Two recommendation letters for almost all RIT programs other than for college of business.

7)  GRE/TOEFL/GMAT: Please go through this link to understand more about the minimum test scores required for your program that you are planning to apply.

 8) Bank Statements: You need to send the bank statements to show proof that you can support your educational expenses. If the funds are not on your name then you can submit a letter of support from the person owning the assets and will be able to sponsor you.
